Sorry... this past weekend was not a good one.
I'll get the commercials uploaded... starting probably tomorrow.
None of them are cigarette ads, and I had the same issue on my youtube channel. I just gently remove the offending comments and on rare occasion, I have to block people. And yes, one Big tobacco company told me to take down some of them... a total of 70 ads.

Sad to hear you went through the same with You Tube.
**sigh**..guess we can thank the folks at Westboro Baptist Church and the recent Supreme Court ruling for this sort of thing. Like the young girl in my hometown who had started an online group for those with bipolar disorder. Ever since the ruling she has been getting more and more postings like "..here is a cure for bipolar..a Smith & Wesson !! Pull the trigger psycho !!"
What a "wonderful" world we live in. Kinda surprise though to hear that a cigarette company would ask that any of their old ads to be removed though.

YouTube has become a comments cesspool. Better to just turn off comments if uploading to YouTube.

True but then again do you know how many people out there who actually depend on You Tube, Wikipedia, Google, Facebook or whatever more than actually contacting your former employer for job reference? Very very scary.
About a month ago I had an interview with a radio station in Denver. As big as the Denver market is imagine my surpruse when they told me that I did NOT get the job because they just couldn't find me on Facebook and You Tube. The Denver radio station in question didn't even bother contacting my former employer oh hom I had spent 20+ years there. Until that interview I had no idea that Facebook, Wikipedia or You Tube was that important. No wonder so many are still out of work today.

My son got a call from Fannie Mae about his student loan, asking him "If you had the money to get engaged, why haven't you been able to pay us?" The ONLY place it stated that he was engaged was on Facebook, so he asked, "Have you been looking at my Facebook?" They said, "Yeah, and cut your hair!"

Thanks for reminding me why I'm glad I'm old and don't have to worry about crap like this. I was on Facebook recently but deleted the account after a few weeks. Pointless distraction. My *real* friends I keep in touch with via email or phone. Or *gasp* face-to-face over lunch or coffee. I might chuck my computers and the 'net in a year or so anyhoo.

Note that it was shot at the famous Vasquez Rocks, location of many b-westerns, b-sci-fi movies, and b-Star Trek episodes with guys wearing cheesy-looking lizard masks. :)
